From CUR Mic to the International Stage!

My journey toward this corporate success began in October 2021 during my second year of campus. Joining Chuka University Radio was not just an extracurricular activity; it was my first corporate training ground. Serving as the Head of the Kiswahili News Team and the Lead Editor and hosting the high energy Rhumba Kitoko show, I learned the weight of responsibility that comes with managing information.

Today, as I work with corporate sector, I carry the lessons of Chuka University Radio with me. The ability to articulate information clearly and the confidence I built with the help Radion heads and technical team has guided me all through after campus.

Chuka University Radio Experience

Chuka University Radio did more than just teach me how to use a microphone, it equipped me with the soft skills leadership, communication, and professional work ethic necessary to thrive in the corporate world. I am proud to be an alumnus of a station that turns students into global professionals.

Message to Current Trainees

There is No better place to start other than Chuka University Radio, if it were Not for that Mic, then this milestone could not be written. It was worth every sacrifice, every missed class, every phone call I received pushing me to get better. You got all it takes to step up, to get better, and to get to the Best. Protect that Radio. It has shaped our lives.
